Curry Apple Salad Dressing Recipe

Curry Apple Salad Dressing Recipe

One of the essential raw food recipes, this curry dressing can be made into a creamy sauce or more of a relish-type consistency. I love the apple-base because the sweetness combines nicely with curry and olive oil, but there are infinite other varieties that can be made, some of which are suggested below. This recipe belongs to the 'quick and tasty raw food essentials' category!

Variations on the Curry-Apple Salad Dressing Recipe

You can pretty much substitute the apple with any fruit or vegetable in this recipe. Two apples weigh about 320g so use roughly the same amount of the other ingredients.

Note that adding more olive oil to this recipe (instead of water) will make it tastier, however, I personally seem to get tired afterwards if I eat a too oily dish. Using the amount of oil as given in this recipe seems to be the ideal for me, balancing taste and energy-levels perfectly.

This amazing salad dressing is a variation on Ani Phyo's 'Basic Blended Dressing' in the 'Ani's Raw Food Essentials' un-cook-book. Simple, quick to make, affordable and lovely, like most Ani's recipes. Hers are most of my favourite raw food recipes.
